You can write the best text content ever for your blog. But, in today’s internet age; if you don’t post some pretty images, many of your readers may get bored with a page full of text and just go elsewhere.

Want proof that images work? Look at the massive success of pinterest & instagram. They are sites made up of nothing but photos and images. Even major news sites like started adding images to their mobile site version. A few months ago, I was browsing their boring news site via my smartphone, and the page was filled with mainly just text links to read more news. Now they have a featured image for each of their news article. With the images for each news piece, it makes you want to read more news when the images look interesting.

I always try to write the best quality content for this blog, but adding images really does help make my posts more visually appealing.

Stock photos can be expensive to use and can cost about $5+ for each photo or image. Fortunately, there are free stock photos you can use without paying.

Here are my 2 favorite places to get free stock photos that you can use legally on your websites.
